This is your choice of a blur if you need something quick because it almost always works without much tweaking. But turning on "Clamp to edge" property, you can avoid this issue.

Clamp to Edge: By default, the blur effect calculation spreads across the edges of the image and may not look okay.

Length: Enables you control the strength of the blur.

Angle: By adjusting the angle, you will be able to tell the path which the blur follows.
